July Favourites!

Rings // Lush Oatifix Face Mask // Q&A a day Journal // H&M Sliders // Topshop Lipstick in 'Brighton Rock'

I go through phases each month of loving make-up, fashion, jewellery or beauty. July happened to be the month of rediscovering old jewellery! These rings have been a staple of mine over the past month as they are easy to wear and add a little something extra to an outfit. I'm particularly fond of midi rings as they are an alternative to a bog standard ring and I find them really cute, as well as simplistic.

The Oatifix Face Mask is the holy grail of ALL facemasks, well, it is if you're like me and suffer from dry patches. As most of you probably know, Lush products are made from all natural ingredients, meaning they are perfect for sensitive skin types. The Oatifix Mask contains bananas, vanilla, oats, illipe butter, ground almonds and kaolin and it smells DELICIOUS. It has the consistency of porridge, which may not seem appealing as it is quite a thick, chunky mask, but once applied, it melts onto the skin leaving it lovely and soft. I could rave about Lush all day and it is totally worth looking into their facemasks as their range caters for all skin types.

I recently purchased the Q&A a day Journal purely on a whim whilst mooching around Amazon as I loved the concept of it. If you fail to keep up with writing in a diary but still want something to record your thoughts and feelings on a daily basis, then you should definitely check this out. The journal has a question for everyday of the year for 5 years and you only have to write up to a couple of sentences! I fill it in before I go to sleep at night and it's a really handy size so you can take it anywhere and everywhere with you and you'll never have to miss a day.

I had my eye on the H&M Sliders for quite a while and ended up buying them when I visited London in June. Needless to say, they have barely been off my feet since. Although I wouldn't suggest wearing them if you're going to be walking long distances, (there is no heel therefore they start to hurt the arch of your foot after a while) they are the perfect day to day shoe and go with practically any outfit! I usually pair them with ripped jeans, a plain t-shirt or crop top, tote bag and I'm good to go!

Topshop Lipsticks are a must have, or a must try at least! 'Brighton Rock' is my absolute favourite shade but has unfortunately been discontinued. I would say the closest shade that they sell nowadays is 'All About Me'. Back to 'Brighton Rock', it is a gorgeous pink but also not too "in your face". It brightens up any make-up look, particularly during the miserable British Summer. Whilst it is slightly matte, I don't find this lipstick drying at all and barely have to top it up during the day. The pigmentation is incredible and it would suit anyone.
