The Christmas Tag

Are we all ready for Christmas? I sure hope so as it's tomorrow! For once, all my presents have been given out and the cards are received. Being organised really does help!

Apologies for not posting yesterday, as I knew I was going to be posting Christmas Eve, I didn't want to overdo it. I'm very particular about my schedule haha!
Christmas is my favourite time of the year so it was guaranteed that I was going to fit this tag into my Blogmas schedule. I love the questions on this tag that I came across on Megan's blog (read her post here) and I love Christmas even more so here we are.

1. What is your favourite Christmas film?
Although I did write about my top 5 Christmas films here, I have to say my favourite ever is Elf! It's so cheesy but festive, I got a lotta love for Buddy.

2. Have you ever had a White Christmas?
It's hard to believe given the appalling British weather, but yes! I remember one year in high school I managed to bag an extra week off school after the holidays thanks to the snow.

3. Where do you usually spend your holiday?
Right in the comfort of my own home. There's nothing better than that! When I was younger it was spent at my grandparent's house or visiting other family but I honestly love nothing more than spending my Christmas on my sofa in my pyjamas.

4. What is your favourite Christmas song?
Similarly to the Christmas film question, my favourite songs are also listed in the post mentioned. The original Band Aid will always be my fave, I get so into it!

5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
Absolutely not! Besides Christmas pyjamas of course, but they're an exception. That has only become a tradition over the last few years.

6. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
Ok let's see... Rudolph, Comet, Cupid, Blitzen, Dancer, Prancer, Donner and I'm sure there's one more that I've forgotten. I'm not even 100% sure on Dancer, I'll have a Google after.

7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?
Well considering Christmas is tomorrow, THE FOOD OBVS. I'm also looking forward to watching my mum open her presents as I went a little crazy this year.

8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
It most likely always will be and always has been fake. I think going buying a real tree is a bit of a faff if I'm honest. They're both equally as pretty!

9. What is your favourite all-time holiday food/sweet treat?
I do love chocolate log and Quality Street and mince pies and gingerbread and... Ok pretty much everything. I'm not fussy.

10. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
Although I do look forward to seeing what people have got me, I find giving gifts much more rewarding. As I've got older I try to put a lot of thoughts into the gifts I buy and make them quite personal.

11. What is the best gift you've ever received?
Without a doubt it was my dolls house when I was little. I was obsessed with that thing and spent endless hours sat in my loft playing with it. I always used to get a new room set if I'd been good.

12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
Like most people's, it's got to be New York. What an absolute dream that'd be. Saying that, I wouldn't mind visiting Lapland as I'm a big kid deep down!

13. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
Interesting question as I think my wrapping skills vary depending on the present and my mood. This year my wrapping hasn't been too shabby, but the last few years have been horrendous. I'm talking mismatching wrapping paper and all sorts.

14. Most memorable holiday moment?
I think all the years that I spent Christmas at my grandma and grandpa's were the most memorable. I would open presents at home, put my special outfit and shoes on and head off to their house to open even more presents. They were definitely the most special moments.

15. What made you realise the truth about Santa?
Umm, excuse me what truth? Haha jk, I'm not even sure you know. I think it was just as I got older it became obvious, I do remember being very confused about it at one point!

16. Do you make New Year's Resolutions? Do you stick to them?
No and no. When I've made them in the past, I've forgotten about them. I find it all a bit pointless, sorry!

17. What makes the holidays special for you?
Being at home all snug, watching lots of Christmas films and being able to eat all of the foods with no guilt whatsoever.

Have you done a Christmas tag this year? Link them below, I'd love to read them!

I have decided that I'm not going to post tomorrow (Christmas Day) as I just want it to be a chilled day where I don't have to think about my blog and the stress it brings to me when I obsess over stats.
For those who have read all of my Blogmas posts, then thank you very much! I have received so many lovely comments about it and it's reassured me that blogging is definitely for me. Roll on 2016!
On that note, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

  3. I am so ready for Christmas it is unreal! I totally am with you on the best gifts being when we were younger, a dolls house, heck yes, I would even want that now! I'm also the same with wrapping, sometimes I put a load of effort, but this year I had to buy everyone's presents from everyone and had no time to make the effort! Love your posts! xx

    1. All my memorable presents are from when I was younger as now my memories are more with the presents I give to others!

  5. I´m so not read for Christmas right now. It feels so much more like September than December. But I´m happy to be home with my parents and to just chill out for a few days before the craziness ensues at uni again.
