22 Thoughts of a Hungover Gal

Long time, no blog. By long time I mean a week but still, that's ages for me! Believe it or not, the idea for this post was sparked whilst I was hungover. Dying in bed and still thinking about my blog? That's pure dedication.

1. I'm never drinking again.

2. I managed to make it home. Alive. Good.

3. Why did I think 6 cocktails one after another was a good idea? It's never a good idea.

4. And why did I give the taxi driver my whole life story?

5.  I can't function until I've had a pint of orange juice and at least two brews.

6. Where's the bacon? And my mum? I'm fragile.

7. I wonder how many friends I made last night, including the taxi driver.

8. Obviously quite a few judging by my Snapchat story.

9. And somehow I managed to post on Instagram whilst intoxicated?

10. ALL I CAN TASTE IS PINEAPPLE FROM ONE OF THE GOD DAMN COCKTAILS.

11. Then I moved onto vodka, ohhhh god.

12. Do I dare to shower? Or brush my teeth?

13. Yep, I definitely should do that.

14. At least I didn't burn the house down whilst making nuggets and hash browns when I got in.

15. I do really fancy a bacon butty though...

16. I'm feeling too delicate to check my purse so I'm just gonna pray my card and ID are still in there.

17. Pizza is a good idea, should I order Dominos for brunch?

18. No I shouldn't, I've spent enough already.

19. How on earth did I spend £20 on cocktails and still have money to get home?

20. I'm a genius.

21. This headache needs to leave... Now.

22. Is it bedtime yet?

And there are the rambles that go through my brain whilst feeling like this...

I've only just recovered from my hangover as alcohol tends to leave me feeling out of it for a week... Pray for me and my body that can't process alcohol.

Have a fab weekend!

  1. This is *mildly* me today! I had a girly day in London yesterday, doing all the cute touristy things. But then we ended up in TGI Fridays so hungry. Which lead to ordering all the carbs, 6 cocktails each and a bottle of wine. Oops. I seriously need a bacon and egg sandwich right about now! xxx

  10. oh my, my body doesn´t do well with alcohol. Hence why I don´t drink that much. I´ve never actually been hungover but I get many of the same thoughts when I´m staying up after midnight. My body just seems to be very sensitive with its sleep schedule.... the plus point is, I´m living healthier...? I don´t know. Maybe I´m just very weird, haha.

  14. This was me today! I always find that it takes a good, filling meal in order for me to feel back to semi-normal. I ordered fried chicken to be delivered for lunch - a new level of lazy/hungover for me! xo

  20. I don't suffer from hangovers that bad and I think differently to this

I don't think I'm never drinking again I think that was a great night and then I think I need water and I don't want food cause I feel sick. I don't get headaches I'm just grumpy cause I haven't slept cause I went to bed at 4am and now I'm up at 10/11
