Reasons Why Spring Is My New Fave Season
Can you believe we're in May already? Like seriously, where has the start of this year gone?! Saying that, I sure am glad we're out of the vile Winter weather we've had over the past few months. It seems the UK is actually paying attention to the seasons by letting the sun come out - Can we keep this up please?
If you've been following my blog for a while, you might know that Autumn was, yes was, my favourite season... But it's all changed now. I'm all about the sun, flowers and unlimited supplies of Costa iced caramel lattes (we can dream). Why is Spring my new favourite season you ask? Well...
1. It's the perfect thin jacket weather. See you in October, Winter coat.
2. Picnics and BBQs. Mm sausage rolls and scotch eggs.
3. More hours in the day for blog photos. Only having two hours to photograph between 12 and 2pm was getting a bit tiresome.
4. Bye bye to dry skin. As well as chapped lips, see ya.
5. Blossom trees, everywhere. Just look at Instagram and see for yourself.
6. Spring make up releases. Give me all the excuses to buy new make up, I'm going to need them.
7. Booking a holiday. Because let's be real, the hot weather isn't going to last here.
8. Blogging in the garden. Which I would do, if my WiFi reached... But I'm happy for everyone else who can.
9. Pastels. Pastel nails, pastel hair, pastel clothes, pastel bedsheets, pastel cocktails, pastel just about anything else you can think of.
10. Frappuccino Happy Hour. Which me and my mum took full advantage of yesterday. Send me all the Caramel Frappes with Coffee pls.
11. Make up still in tact. There's nothing worse than the fear of your brows being rained off, thank you sunny weather.
12. Red Carpet fashion. Is it just me or does anyone else look forward to Spring for all the award shows? Seriously, E! Red Carpet is my guilty pleasure.
13. Summer jams. I mean have you heard JT's new song? What a tune.
14. Eurovision. Speaking of JT, Eurovision is tonight. I look forward to this all year round, who's ready to watch the UK epically fail again?
15. My birthday. Last but not least, the most important event of the year. 10 days and counting people!
Not gonna lie, this was a pretty basic ass list but I regret nothing. I've been feeling a bit deflated and "meh" recently, I blame hormones, and there's nothing like a list post to cheer you the heck up.
What are your fave things about Spring?

Indeed! Lo the winter is passed...hopefully. Here in Wyoming, US, spring sometimes reveals itself only in small snippets, like seeing a mouse out of the corner of your eye. But alas flowers begin to bloom and the days grow longer. Off with the heavy clothing, turn the music up and bask in the sun! Thanks for the sunny post!

DeleteI love Spring and always have; it's such a relief to get out of Winter haha! One of my favourite things is the increased hours of light too - it is so irritating running out of time for blog photography!! Fab post - I've had a hormonal day myself today and I feel much better now! :)

Thin jackets weather is my absolute favourite! I have soooo many beautiful jackets that I never get to wear because Toronto tends to go from freezing to way too hot and humid in about a day!
ReplyDeleteI'm really learning to love spring actually (I always considered it to be my least fave season but not any more). I love that it's bright in the morning and evenings, that I can leave with just a thin jacket and like you, my birthday being around the corner. Yay for us spring babies x
