How Much is my Face Worth?

I've been really into writing beauty posts lately, can you tell? As I've been seeing this "tag" floating around the interwebs for quite some time, I thought I'd give it a go because for one, I have no idea how much the make up I wear daily is going to come to... So let's find out!

The Base:

+ Primer - Rimmel London Stay Matte Primer // £5.99
+ Foundation - Revlon Colorstay Foundation 'Buff' // £12.99
+ Under Eye Concealer - Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer // £7.99
+ Concealer - Natural Collection Cover-up Cream // £1.99
+ Powder - NYX HD Studio Finishing Translucent Powder // £8.00
+ Setting Spray - Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray // £22.00

Total:  £58.96

The Eyes:

+ Eyeshadow Primer - Benefit Air Patrol // £21.50 (I only own the mini which was free)
+ Eyeshadow - Urban Decay Naked Palette // £38.50
+ Mascara - Benefit Rollerlash // £19.50

Total: £79.50

The Cheeks:

+ Contour - Benefit Hoola Bronzer // £23.50
+ Highlight - Sleek 'Solstice' Highlight Palette // £9.99
+ Blusher - Natural Collection Blushed Cheeks // £1.99

Total: £35.48

The Lips:

+ Lip Balm - The Body Shop Born Lippy in 'Watermelon' // £2.00
+ Lipstick - Kylie Lip Kit 'Posie K' // £20.34

Total: £22.34

The Brows:

+ Pomade - Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade 'Taupe' // £15.00

Total: £15.00

And now for the scary part...

GRAND TOTAL: £211.28

Yikes. That's a lot of money for an everyday face. Nevertheless, I am not ashamed cos y'know, takes a lot to look this cute on the daily.
For those wondering, yes I use the original Naked palette most days and yes, Posie K really is my absolute my go-to lipstick. I actually need to calm down using it before it runs out... Or I could just buy myself a dupe. I'll just buy myself a dupe.

If you've already done this tag, link me below as I'd love to see how much your face is worth too!
On the other hand, if you haven't done this then go ahead and add up all your make up, I guarantee you're in for a shock.

  3. So happy to have discovered your blog today, it's absolutely amazing! I love this beauty post, hadn't heard about this tag before, but then again, I'm not at all a beauty specialist hehe :D Love the collection you own though, and I most definitely agree make-up is worth its price! I stopped wearing cheap make-up ages ago hehe. Actually ever since I worked over at Chanel and got loads of make-up for free, and I can assure you it's literally impossible to switch back to cheap make-up now haha. Anyways, just started following on Instagram lovely, keep up the amazing work!

  6. For my most BASIC face, it costs around $270!! which is around 180 euroes! If i include lipstick, mascara, blush...it would be so much more! Luckily these things last long, eh?!

  21. Oh dear, I'm afraid to calculate mine after seeing this haha! I use mainly drugstore products though so it's possible I'd stay under two hundred... I don't want to know. Also, that Sleek highlight palette is THE palette of the year.
