Those Summer Night Outfits*

By now, I am sure most of us are pretty aware that I'm off on holiday this week. THIS WEEK. I'm so excited!!! Despite the fact I still have last minute make up bits to buy (because my primer decided to run out the other day), I am feeling rather prepared. Now, we all know how much I love a good wish list. I love peeking at other people's, particularly the ones written by fashion bloggers... Because they know their stuff.

Well prepare yourself because it's my turn to show you the things I have my eye on from a little well known brand called JD Williams. Before they reached out to me, I've got to say they weren't ever a place that I had thought of shopping before but after checking out their website, I realised they have some pretty adorable items for incredible prices.

I've decided to call the items I have selected my "holiday picks" and I frickin' wish I was taking them all away with me. But alas, I cannot (damn you luggage allowance) - so I thought I'd share them with you instead.

1. Button Sleeve Shirt Dress
Shirt dresses are an absolute staple for me. I know a deep purple isn't exactly the most "summery" colour but c'mon now, how cute would it look with a tan? As shirt dresses are super light and floaty, they're so easy to just throw on at night and ta-da. Outfit complete.

2. Clarks T Bar Sandals
My next chosen item, these gorgeous pair of T Bar sandals are possibly the cutest pair of shoes I've ever set my eyes on. I feel like you can't go wrong with a pair of classic black sandals as they can easily be dressed up or down. As well as being able to wear them with practically anything and everything on holiday, for a more casual look, I would pair them with skinny jeans. Essentially, they're a pair of shoes that make you look like you've made more effort than you have - perfect for moi.

3. Strappy Shift Dress
I feel like you have to take at least one bright coloured item of clothing away with you... Simply just to emphasise your tan, duh. Shift dresses are perfect for those who are similar to me and hate anything tight fitting, especially in a hot climate. For sure a bronzed make up look with a nude lip is the way to go with this dress. Anything that accentuates the tan is a must

4. Blue Tile Print Maxi Dress
This blue tile print maxi dress is a firm favourite of both mine and my mum's. Hands off Caroline. Although saying that, I've always been too scared to try a maxi dress. I don't know why but I seem to have a mental block of them making me look much shorter than I am - can someone please reassure me?

5. The Shoe Tailor Flip Flops
Flip flops had to be included because everyone needs a good pair for their holiday, that goes without saying. They're like the ultimate suitcase essential and everyone has at least two pairs stuffed down the back of their wardrobe. Sometimes it's nice to just pay a little extra for some nice ones that you're not going to cover in sun cream.

6. Sole Diva Buckle Footbed Sandals
I couldn't not include these babies. I'm such a sucker for a pair of Birkenstocks, only I don't actually own any because I refuse to pay the price. Call me stingy all you want, we all love a bargain. So I settle for dupes! But wait, just imagine this particular pair with the khaki dress that's next on the list. Yes please, I need that outfit in my wardrobe right now.

7. Khaki Jersey Maxi T-Shirt Dress
This wish list has definitely got me lusting over maxi dresses, can you tell? As well as being the ultimate strolling-along-the-beach-at-night dress, they'd also be super comfy for travelling. A casual t-shirt maxi dress could literally be paired with anything. I feel that a lightweight denim jacket would really compliment the khaki colour in this particular item and make it a super cute transitional outfit from Spring to Summer.

What are your thoughts on my picks? How would you style them?

Also just a little heads up, I'm planning on scheduling content for when I'm away so just in case anything goes wrong (which I'm praying doesn't happen, don't fail me Blogger), I won't be able to fix it until I'm home. Ok cool, bye!
