Off to Paradise with July's Nailbox

Looking at the weather outside, you definitely wouldn't think it was Summer. Bloody British weather. Having this arrive at my door certainly did brighten the day up though, silver lining and all that. These lovely goodies were all part of July's paradise themed Nailbox, a brand that I hadn't heard of before they got in contact, but a brand I'm glad I now know of nonetheless.

Nailbox is a subscription box that, hint is in the name, is all about everything nail related. You can pay £15 each month for this lovely little box or like a lot of other subscription services, you can buy the boxes in bulk. For example, 3 month or 6 month subscriptions depending on your budget.

Each box contains 5 treats made up of a mixture of nail polishes, tools and treatments. It'd make a lovely gift for someone, especially those who are nail art fanatics as I know that's something that is super popular lately.

July's box included 3 nail polishes, 1 nail treatment and 1 pair of toe separators, because you can never have enough of those! At the bottom of the box I noticed that a small strip of nail wraps were included, which I thought was a nice touch.

The first nail polish that I saw was by Nails Inc. in the shade 'Soho Place'. I think this box is fab value for money considering that polish costs £14 alone! This colour really is the perfect summer shade and would look fab on your fingers or your toes. Be a rebel, wear it on both!

The second polish is by a brand I'm not familiar with at all, True Brit London and is in the shade 'The Summer House'. It's a gorgeous nude toned colour because let's be real, everyone has to own a nude shade. I can't wait to try it out as it looks beautiful!

Lastly, we have an Angelica polish in 'Snow White'. If that doesn't make you think of Christmas instantly, then I don't know what will. I'm really not keen on white nail polish due to my bad application, the words Tipp-Ex fingers come to mind. Saying that, I'm willing to give anything a go - I bet it looks bomb ass with a tan.

Onto the tools and little extras featured in the box, I just have to talk about the Coconut Nailbalm by Nailberry. Oh my god, it smells incredible. It literally smells like holidays. You rub it all over your cuticles to keep them hydrated because as we all probably know, dry nails aren't cute.

The toe separators by Brush Works were a very useful addition to last month's Paradise themed box, mainly because I'm always frickin' losing them. There's not much to say about them but I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of them as my toenails like to chip. A lot.

Finally, we have the lovely Jamberry Nail Wraps, something that I've never tried before. I usually just stick to nail polish on my nails but as I stated earlier, I'm willing to give anything a try. I'm sure the particular print I got, which is pictured above, would look fab with the nude polish by True Brit London. Yas for nail combos.

What are your thoughts on subscription boxes? Does this one interest you?

Don't forget, you can sign up for the August Nailbox here.

  1. I don't like Jamberry personally. I find the, much like Younique reps, tend to be very pushy. I don't like those business practices.

  2. If it wasn't for the fact I already have over 50 nail polishes I would sign up to this in the blink of an eye! I think subscription boxes are a great way to find things we make have looked straight past in store or never even heard of!
