Monthly Favourites | October

Lol I'm back... Yet again. This time I do have a valid excuse for my blogging disappearing act but it's something I'll save for another post - I'm not feeling getting deep on a monthly faves, soz. Whilst October was a pretty pants month all round, I wanted to share some things I've enjoyed throughout the month... Y'know, positivity and all that!

(Also can we just talk about how we're only a month and a half away from Christmas? Help.)

For this month I decided to keep it strictly non-beauty because A) These posts end up being bombarded with make up and B) You'll see why soon... If I manage to get my blogging butt back into gear.

After another week of feeling extremely crappy due to basically everything that could ever go wrong in my life going wrong, my good old momma took me to see Bridget Jones' Baby. I actually don't think I've ever laughed so loud in a cinema before... It gave me proper belly LOLs. I'll hold my hands up and admit, I'm a newbie to the Bridget Jones franchise but I'm 99% sure you could see this film without watching the first 2, and still have an absolute ball! Plus you get to stare at Patrick Dempsey's pretty face for 2 hours... Win, win.

Next up is the ever so wonderful Box of Lame, put together by the fabulous Chloe. The Box of Lame is perfect for all stationery lovers out there, it's basically notepad heaven. I, of course, purchased the blogger box which just happened to be the biggest... So if you'd like me to go through that at any stage then gimme a shout.

Unfortunately the current Box of Lame is now sold out, but keep your eyes peeled as a special Christmas box will be coming very soon (Yay for me, not so yay for my bank account). You can also read my post all about the previous box here.

Does this pic not give you all the cosy Autumn vibes? That's how I feel everytime I light the candle featured... My god, it smells SO good. In September I decided to place a lil Bath & Bodyworks haul via MyMallbox where I picked up this luuuush 3-Wick candle. It literally burns and smells like a dream. The only way I can describe the scent is caramel, vanilla and spicy goodness - Everyone who steps in my room compliments it as soon as they smell it. Thanks B&BW for being the ultimate candle huns!

Secondly, we have the super cosy, super fuzzy pastel scarf also featured in this pic. The Winter nights are quickly drawing in so it's time to dig out all the knitwear, or in my case, my forever growing fluffy scarf collection. Now, this scarf doesn't appear to have a label but I'm 90% sure it's from Primark... Last year. I just had to include this in my faves because it's rare you'll see me outside without a scarf these days!

Finally we have a fashion fave, check me out, and a LUSH fave, obviously.

I've been wearing this Brandy Melville-esque tee from Primark (I know right? Primark!) non stop over the past month... It's basically been my go-to since I got it. I'm pretty sure it was only £6 too, an absolute bargain. It's incredibly soft, fits perfectly and goes with just about anything - It's the perfect layering t-shirt!

Of course, what's an Autumn/Winter favourites post without including a lil' something from LUSH's Christmas range? Snow Fairy is my all round signature shower gel... It's literally the only one I use all year round. If you're yet to get on the hype, I'll describe the scent as pear drops - The classic childhood sweet. I'm desperate to get my hands on the newly added Snow Fairy body condition because yes, give me all the Snow Fairy.

What have been some of your faves throughout October?

    1. Isn't it such a funny film? I was near crying laughing haha!
I can't remember exact amounts with B&BW but it ended up costing around £50 for 2 big candles and 3 smaller ones lol, safe to say I won't be doing that again. x

  4. I´ve already got Snow Fairy out too. I love the scent, it really is a classic childhood sweet & everything about it is awesome. Also Bridget Jones is definitely on my to-watch list! I´m really new to the franchise as well & have so far only watched the first movie but I loved that, so I think I´m gonna love the other two as well. Plus, Patrick Dempsey is in the third, so even should I not love it, I´m still gonna have a good time, haha.
